Supporting Social Businesses

Since 2013, IVN has supported social businesses, expanding its impact on socio-economic development and reducing disparities in Israel. The organization has supported over 70 social businesses that provide employment opportunities or services/products to various populations in Israel, including geographically and socially peripheral areas, people with disabilities, at-risk youth, members of the ultra-Orthodox community, the Arab community, and more.

IVN’s assistance to these businesses includes loans from three different funds, along with mentoring support that helps businesses establish themselves, grow, ensure their existence, and continue to provide diverse business activities. The mentorship network comprises about 100 volunteers, all experienced business individuals who have held senior roles in various industries.

Over 30 million NIS have been invested in social businesses operating within IVN’s fund portfolio. Over 95% of these social businesses have successfully established themselves, repaid their loans, and continue their activities. Thousands of individuals from socially and geographically peripheral areas are employed by these businesses.
